A week of fixed-price dining celebrating Santa Cruz Restaurants | October 1-8, 2009 | Sponsored by Santa Cruz Weekly and friends.

Three courses, $25

Santa Cruz Restaurant Week is the old champagne-on-a-beer budget way to enjoy fine dining at an great price. In the economy of 2009, we can all use a break, and fixed price dining at the top restaurants in town is a nice quality of life perk in a recession. The flip side of it is that it helps restaurants and the local economy too. With greater numbers of diners choosing from a fixed menu, restaurants see bigger sales and can manage their costs. So it works out for everybody.

Restaurants will offer three options for each course. The three courses are appetizer, entree and dessert. The $25 cost does not include beverage, tax or gratuity.

We’ll be posting the menus online here as they come in, so check back.
