Due to the strong response to the initial call for participants, Santa Cruz Restaurant Week has extended its deadline to allow more restaurants to participate.
The Inaugural Santa Cruz Restaurant Week begins October 1, 2009. The promotion will last eight days. Its goal is to showcase Santa Cruz County as a dining destination and bring diners into local restaurants to enjoy a special menu of culinary creations.
Santa Cruz Restaurant Week is an excellent opportunity for restaurants to attract new customers—and invite current customers to return. Each participating restaurant will contribute three $50 dining gift certificates. These will be used for drawings and giveaways to gain media exposure, and to reward volunteers who are helping launch this event.
